MANIPUR STATE ARCHAEOLOGY, KANGLA :
The Manipur State Archaeology established by the Government of Manipur in 1978 has been devoting to the preservation, protection, exploration and excavation of ancient and historical monuments, archaeological sites and remains in the State.

KANGLA FORT BOARD:
The Kangla Fort Board was constituted by the Government of Manipur to oversee the administration and development of the Kangla Fort under the Kangla Fort Act, 2005. The Board is headed by the Chief Minister of Manipur as the President. The Commissioner, Art & Culture functions as the Member Secretary of the Board. The Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Department of Environment, Manipur and Forest Department are managing the landscape of the Fort complex.
